General Terms of Use for MindPulse Brain Week
Updated on March 7, 2023

These games are provided to you by MindPulse.net as part of a scientific outreach initiative.
They have been prepared by the MindPulse team for the Brain Week 2023 public outreach activities. This initiative has been carried out in collaboration with the S[cube] association and the “Neurobiology of Decision-Making” team at the Neuroscience Institute - Paris Saclay University.

We record usernames, times, age, gender, and laterality to display the "records of the day" and will also perform statistics to gauge the speeds achieved online. We will likely provide a brief report on the statistics of these games. This does NOT constitute a "scientific experiment" or "clinical" value. Reaction times here are subject to various uncertainties, such as internet connection and environmental disturbances.

The purpose of these games is to stimulate interest in neurological phenomena in a spirit of scientific outreach during Brain Week and other public events. These games are free of charge. Institutions, schools, colleges, high schools, associations, etc., wishing to use them for scientific outreach purposes are invited to simply contact us to inform us and to courteously cite us in their communications.

The software was created by Ms. Solène Hirlès as part of her company training and by Prof. Bertrand Eynard. The images were graciously provided by Dr. Sandra Suarez, who retains ownership of them, and were created by Ms. Marie Eynard. We thank the professionals who contributed to the informational texts, particularly: Dr. Sandra Suarez, Dr. Charlotte Mennetrey, Prof. Sylvie Granon, Ms. Nastasia Mirofle (PhD candidate), etc.

We wish you an enjoyable discovery.
